Mrs.Dickson Ihejirika is the Founding Editor, Trending Gists and Communication Network (TGCN-www.trendgistnetwork.com), an Online publishing platform established in 2022.
Mrs.Ihejirika is a passionate environmental journalist in Lagos with great commitment to community development and environmental sustainability awareness.She was born in October,1978 in Owerri, Imo-State.
She is a member of the Ecozone club of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ),a club of 40 dedicated members, student journalists diligently using their journalistic skills in environmental sustainability reporting and shaping the destiny of young journalists.
Mrs.Ihejirika holds a Master’s degree in English Language from the University of Lagos and, currently, is a postgraduate student of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) where she is studying Broadcast Journalism.
She actively participated in Eco Lab trainings organised by the German News Service(DW) and Channels Academy for environmental journalists and content creators in December 2024.
She also featured in several other trainings and conferences which among them is the 23rd Memorial Lecture of Late Chief S.L Edu, dated 14th January, 2025 where the environmental works of her member club, Ecozone club were honoured with an outstanding cheer before Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo, the Former Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Keynote speaker of the day.
The event, which was organised by the Nigerian Conservation Foundation in partnership with the Late Chief S.L. Edu’s family, was sponsored by Chevron.
Mrs.Dickson Ihejirika is a devoted wife and a mother of three (3) phenomenal grown-ups.
She desires to use her journalist skills to promote social inclusion and community development. She is also open to learning and personal development.
